Check out this video of powerboats traveling from Florida to Cuba for the first time in 58 years.
A flotilla of powerboats arrived from Florida to Havana on Tuesday (May 17), marking the revival of a nautical exchange which has been on hold for 58 years.
Some 20 boats set off from Key West arrived in Havana between 10.30 and 11.30 a.m. (1430 and 1530 G.M.T.), marking the first edition since the rally was halted in 1958, and since its 1922 beginnings.
For Cubans watching on, the event marked positive steps since the United States announced a detente with the island.
