Check out a recent feature from the latest Speed on the Water Digital Magazine, showcasing a recap of the 2016 FPC Key West Poker Run!
As you can see from the image to the right, of all the boats docked in front of the Conch Republic Seafood Company, quite a diverse mix of performance boats made the trip from Miami to Key West, Fla., for the 24th Annual Key West Poker Run organized by the Florida Powerboat Club. Photo-worthy catamarans from MTI, Skater and Sonic are tied up with jaw-dropping V-bottoms from the likes of Cigarette, Outerlimits and Sunsation, as well as center consoles built by Deep Impact, Mystic and Statement. Of course, Nor-Tech had a little of all three styles of boats in attendance. There also was plenty of boat eye–candy to see off to the side of the restaurant in the poker run village. Overall the event went off without a hitch. Between stopping in Gilbert’s in Key Largo for lunch on one of the two departure days to the impromptu raft-up on Saturday, those who attended the “granddaddy of all poker runs” had a great time as usual.
