FPC Staff
The Florida Powerboat Club staff is composed of dedicated people providing a wide variety of services that are designed to assist FPC members in achieving the maximum enjoyment of owning, and using their powerboats in the Sunshine State. The structure of the FPC office is to provide a strong resource base for club members registering for poker run events, including the reservation process for accommodations and dockage on all events. In addition, through the publishing of the FPC magazine, Powerboating in Paradise, and the production of exciting poker run videos, FPC has evolved as a very active media company, offering services that include aerial photography and videography, as well as digital editing and video production.

Stu Jones has always had an interest in motorsports, powerboating and speed. He founded Florida Powerboat Club in 1993 to create an organization for people to do what they love. Originally born in Canada, Stu migrated to the US in 1991 and is now a naturalized American citizen. Stu is married to Jackie Jones who helps with the day-to-day operations of FPC. They reside in Pompano Beach, Florida with their 2 sons Tyler and Maxwell.

Being married to the boss isn’t all it’s cracked up to be when you work at Florida Powerboat Club, and being the mother of two young boys at the same time can really put the nerves to the test! But somehow Jackie manages the stress and still handles her position as Event Manager with poise and professionalism. Over the years, Jackie has become a seasoned pro when it comes to making reservations for accommodations and dockage on behalf Florida Powerboat Club members. In fact, since taking on this role back in summer 2002, Jackie has gained so much valuable experience as a travel professional, she is now an accredited IATAN travel consultant, and can pretty much book your reservations anywhere you want to go…even if its not a Florida Powerboat Club event! As her sons Tyler and Max grow up and become more active with school and extra-curricular activities, Jackie’s role as an active Mom splits her time between home and office, but there’s never a computer far from her fingertips. So next time you want to go somewhere…in Florida or abroad, let Jackie take care of your travel needs. It keeps her out of trouble, and helps out the club! More importantly, its one less thing for you to worry about!
